Reunion Celebration Planned for HCH/HRMC ‘Babies’ of All Ages!

HACKETTSTOWN (August 2005) - A very special event will take place on the grounds of Hackettstown Regional Medical Center on Sunday, September 25th.  On that day, for the first time ever, a reunion celebration will be held to gather any and all babies born at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center (formerly Hackettstown Community Hospital) since the hospital first opened its doors in 1973.

Its going to be a great day of fun, said Lisa Dimiceli, Special Events Coordinator at HRMC. Theres a huge family of HCH/HRMC babies out there and wed love to see as many of them at this Reunion Celebration as possible.

Babies of all ages and their families are welcome and encouraged to attend this unique event.  The festivities will begin at 1 p.m. and will culminate with a one-hour free concert for kids by well-known childrens entertainer, Mr. RAY, from 3 to 4 p.m.  Another highlight of the day will be a large, unique group photo opportunity with all of the babies in attendance at 2:30 p.m.  Throughout the celebration, attendees will enjoy DJ music; a celebration of the Childbirth Family Center; complimentary birthday cake; a photo montage of the hospitals growing family of HCH/HRMC babies; and a variety of other activities for children of all ages. The event is free and plenty of parking will be available.

The Hospitals Foundation/Development office is continuing to compile an updated mailing list of those born at the hospital, and they need your help to spread the word. If your children were born here at HCH/HRMC, if you were born here, or if you know someone who was, please contact the Foundation office at 908-850-6876.  Those planning to attend the event should RSVP to that same number.

If you have a photo of an HCH/HRMC baby of any age from then or now, and would like to see it included in the Reunion Celebration photo montage, please send it to  HRMC, Attn: Development Baby Reunion, 651 Willow Grove Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 or bring it with you on the day of the event.  All photos will become a permanent part of the display and are non- returnable.  No names will be used with the photos.

If you were born at Hackettstown Community Hospital/Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, plan to take part in the Reunion Celebration - they want to see you in September!
