Diagnostic Imaging for Adolescents and Children

State-of-the-Art Technology for All of Your Diagnostic Imaging Needs

CT-16
Computerized Tomography 16 Slice (CT-16) Multidetector performs a scan in seconds. The CT-16 takes detailed cross-sectional images. Our CT is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), which has stringent standards to assure outstanding quality images. Our experienced technologists are ARRT registered and licensed.

Dexascan: Bone Densitometry
To evaluate the risk of osteoporosis, Diagnostic Imaging offers a non-invasive, simple, low dose bone density scan it takes only a few seconds. HRMCs Dexascan provides the gold standard in the evaluation of bone loss.

Digital Radiography
All of the X-ray images are acquired using state-of-the-art digital radiography technology for the most accurate readings. Every image is read by our on-site Board Certified radiologists.

Digital radiography works similar to a digital camera, only better. High-tech, high-definition digital X-ray images are available within seconds.

Mammography
Our registered, expert ARRT mammography technologists understand how important a quality exam is for detection of potential breast abnormalities. Our experienced and friendly technologists are trained in the latest techniques to keep compression discomfort to a minimum. Compression of the breast is a necessary part of the exam to delineate the breast tissue and to reduce the amount of radiation needed to generate a quality image. To assure the most accurate interpretations, all mammograms are read independently by two on-site Board Certified radiologists. Mammography is accredited by the American College of Radiology, MQSA.

Nuclear Medicine
ADI has two state-of-the-art nuclear gamma cameras to perform an array of diagnostic nuclear studies. These studies include one-day nuclear stress tests, HIDA and bone scans. Our dedicated cardiac stress lab shortens the imaging time to improve patient comfort. Our dual-head Siemens E-Cams provide accurate images and assist in the diagnosis of many diseases.

PET/CT
As a diagnostic tool, our GE Discovery ST PET (Positron Emission Tomography) technology combines conventional nuclear medicine and traditional CT technology, resulting in accurate and sensitive images that are very useful to aid in the diagnosis of Alzheimers disease and other dementias, strokes, brain tumors and seizures. PET imaging is also used in the development and monitoring of oncology treatment planning.

For more information about the PET/CT or to schedule an appointment, please call (908) 441-1560.

Ultrasound: Now also available in 3D and 4D
ADI offers 3D and 4D imaging, which provide clear and moving three-dimensional pictures, offering a new dimension of information for your physician. The units are capable of multi-dimensional imaging for a full range of clinical applications from abdominal to breast to vascular imaging.

The 3D and 4D technology-provided images create a more lifelike appearance of fetal anatomy. This technology is useful in viewing fetal heart and blood flow as well as hands, feet and face.

Convenient Appointments
Advanced Diagnostic Imaging offers convenient day and evening appointments seven days a week. To schedule an appointment for any one of the above imaging technologies, please call (908) 850-6842.
